A guiding principle of the HOPE SF initiative is to “develop a sense of community.”  The community building process happening at Potrero reinforces social connectivity by instilling hope, strengthening relationships, and reaffirming a commitment to individual and shared responsibility.  Programs and services are designed to help residents of the Annex, Terrace, and their Potrero Hill neighbors share in the community building process to create a vibrant, healthy future. 

BRIDGE Housing meets and works with community members and key stakeholders regularly regarding the latest regarding matters and concerns impacting the community.

The Rebuild Potrero Community Building Initiative has been underway since 2009 with the goal of building the capacity of residents to improve their quality of life and effect positive change in their community.  BRIDGE Housing has been working with Potrero Terrace and Annex residents, community members of broader Potrero Hill, and other key stakeholders on a variety of activities, events, and projects that promote unity while increasing resident involvement.
